KIBBIE DOME ANNUAL 2007

All AMA events, including 1.2 gram EZB and special events listed below can be flown all days at East end of Dome during hours not set aside for gliders.

F1D TEAM SELECTION FINAL will be held during the Kibbie Dome Annual 2007. F1D flying will be at the West end of the Dome during hours not set aside for glider events.

FLYING SCALE CONTEST DIRECTOR: Dave Haught, Phone: 1-623-337-4827 for additional information. Flying Aces Rules will be used. Static judging prior to flying.

Times: July 6 - 9: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
July 10: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Gliders: All days, 8:00 am to 9:30 am

SPECIAL EVENTS:
A-6, 35 cm, Science Olympiad, and 30 gram max. weight Electric Free Flight (No R/C models allowed).

ENTRY FEES:
Junior and Senior - $50.00
Open - $125.00
Table and 2 chairs: $10.00. Helium: modest additional charge. There are no additional event charges.

AMA membership required for USA fliers. Please confirm international membership waivers. Confirm on-site AMA signup with Andrew prior to event.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Special rates are available at the University Inn, Moscow, Idaho, for participants, family and friends. For Reservations call: 1-800-325-8765. Reference "Kibbie Dome Annual."

Parking: All participants with vehicles intending to park on campus must obtain a visitor's parking pass and obtain information for which lots are available.

Final notes:
This is a casual venue. Participants are required to have fun ! The timeframe of the Annual had to be adjusted due to Dome events schedule conflicts.

PEACH STATE INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
A National Indoor Cup Event

The Thermal Thumbers of Metro Atlanta are hosting our sixteenth annual state indoor free flight championship. We invite club members, family, and friends to come and join the fun. The public is invited, but only AMA members can fly, so bring your AMA card. However, kids can fly for free because we=ll provide a complimentary AMA membership. Bring your TSA and SO models.
The contest is sanctioned by the AMA and all events, except as noted, will be flown per the AMA rule book as class AAA and category II. Registration begins at 8:30 am. Flying begins at 9:00 am, continues throughout the day, and ends at 4:30 pm. Lightweight events will be segregated from the heavyweights. Mass launch events will be sudden death and no kanones.

Fees and Awards: The basic fee will be seven dollars for the first event, three dollars for each additional event, and a sixteen dollar maximum. Kids fly for free. Test and fun fliers will be charged five dollars. Trophies will be given down the three places, but only to the winners of the mass launches. The CD will give a High Point, Junior High Point, Best Crash, and CD's Award. We'll have some merchandise and swag for the worthy.

How To Get There: Get to I-75 northwest of Atlanta, outside I-285. Exit at Wade Green Rd.(exit #273). Head south, proceed .4 miles, and turn right onto Jiles Rd. at Amoco. Go 2.9 miles on Jiles Rd. and take a right onto Hwy.293/Old Hwy. 41 at CVS Pharmacy and Kennesaw Elementary. Proceed west 1.6 miles to North Cobb HS, on the right. Turn right into parking lot at the Blue Springs Rd. intersection/traffic light. Follow signs to gym.

The 2007 Empire State Indoor Championships

At the Main Street Armory, 900 E. Main Street, Rochester, NY, Sunday, April 22, 2007

Sponsored by the Western New York Free Flight Society and the Flying Aces Club

Seven AMA events:

Mini Stick, Standard Class Catapult Glider, Intermediate Stick, 7-gram Bostonian, Limited Penny Plane, AMA Easy B, F1D.

Seven FAC events:

FAC Scale, FAC Peanut, Hi Wing Peanut, No-Cal Scale (6.2g minimum), WWII No-Cal Combat (6.2g minimum), Dime Scale, Golden Age Civil Scale.

Two special events:

- Phantom Horde for stock Phantom Flash models built and decorated per plan, 3.5 gram minimum weight.

- Science Olympiad Wright Stuff event for senior high students. 2007 WS rules apply except there will be no time limit to make three official flights.

The Armory is an AMA Category II site. Highest point of gently arched girder base is 45 ft. 1 inch above the floor. Interior photos are available on request from Bob Clemens. All areas of the building other than the main arena are strictly off limits. The Armory is located approximately 1/3 mile east of the Main St. exit of Rochester's Inner Loop. The Inner Loop is accessible via either I-490 East and I-490 West, both of which have exits/entrances on the New York State Thruway.

The contest will run from 9 AM to 4 PM. on Sunday, April 22, 2007. Building opens at 8 AM. Ample parking is available on north and east sides of the Armory.

Entry fee: $20.00 flies all events for open contestants. Juniors and Science Olympiad contestants fly for $1.00, which and includes one-day AMA license if needed. Open fliers must have a valid AMA or MAAC license. Plaques will be awarded through third place in all events.
